Happy Tails - Flynn
Flynn came to the rescue from Kayenta in October, one of the first three we took in. He arrived with a few medical problems. His platelet count was extremely low, although you wouldn't have known it by his energy level. We fed him fresh fish, organic liver, and supplements. In a few weeks, he was as healthy as any dog. Flynn had yard mates come and go, but no one chose him. We could tell he wasn’t sad but we were for this great boy deserved a forever home and we couldn’t understand why he was overlooked. He became of favorite of volunteers that came and spent time with him.
In March, we received a request to meet Flynn; a young couple with another dog. We did the meet and greet and the young man couldn't stop grinning the whole time. He said he looked at Flynn's picture and bio on Petfinder for over two weeks and just had to wait for the weather to clear in Flagstaff before coming to meet him.
So, Flynn is in his new home where he will be going camping, hiking, swimming (if he likes), and has playmates, human and dog, that will keep him company and no one is sad any more!
